1. Some say we are in bondage to the Feast days.

    2. Maybe those who accuse us of being in bondage should do a little reading of their bibles.
    Exodus 13:1-22
    Why did God give his people the Passover and Days of Unleavened Bread? To remind them he freed them from slavery. Remember, they asked Pharoah to be allowed to keep the Spring Holy Days and he said, "No, you are slaves." After some convincing from God, Pharoah finally let the people go.
    We today must ask our employers for time off for the Feast days and if they say no, we go anyway. Who is in bondage and who is free? Those who can't get the days off for God's Feast days, or those who take the days off for Feast days? I say, "We are Free".
    Leviticus 23:33-44
    Why did the children of Israel dwell in booths for 40 years? Why didn't God take them straight into to promised land? Well, that was the plan, but even though Israel was physically free from Egypt, mentally they were still slaves. To put it in modern terms, they wanted the government to take care of them.
    Numbers 13:21-33
    Numbers 14:1-45
    Stunning to me that they wanted to go back to Egypt. They watched their Egyptian masters throw their sons into the river and drown them. If God hadn't intervened with Moses, that would have been his fate. Caleb and Joshua were FREE and ready to enter the promised land. When we take the time to keep the Feast of Tabernacles as God instructs us, we are learning to be Free. We are not the ones in bondage brethren. We are the ones in training to be FREE!

  2. Some say we are in bondage to the Sabbath day.

    3. Maybe those who accuse us of being in bondage should do a little reading of their bibles.
    Exodus 16:22-30
    Oh my, what a harsh and mean God. He forces them to rest and spend time with their families and God every seventh day. How did the people take it? Of course I'm being sarcastic, but that is the way some people in the world try to make God sound. The world claims the Messiah did away with the Sabbath when he came. They LIE! You can not find that in scripture, instead we find the Messiah stating this:
    Mark 2:27-28
    The Sabbath is one of the greatest blessings God has given to mankind. As someone once said, "I have a thousand things I need to get done, but now that it's the Sabbath, I'm not doing any of them and I'm not going to feel one bit guilty about it either. When we tell our employers we are taking off for the Sabbath and they say, 'NO' and we take it off anyway, but the world has to work. Who is Free and who is the slave? We keep the Sabbath because we are FREE and they can not make us! Thank God for that freedom we have in our country!

  3. Some say we are in bondage to tithing.

    4. Leviticus 27:30-34
    All is really God's, but he only requires from us a tenth. Do you think God really needs our money? No, so why does he ask it of us? God wants us to show we know where our money comes from and he wants us to have a hand in doing his work here on earth. And after you learn about first tithe, then God teaches you about 2nd tithe.
    Deuteronomy 14:22-27
    Brethren, second tithe just plain works. I've done this since I was a teenager and I've always had enough for the Feast days. Year after year after year I've been able to travel with my family and keep a wonderful feast with God's people and rejoice before the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. What a blessing it is. In the words of Joe Elkins, "The world is being robbed by not keeping these days." This is Joe's first Feast and I don't think he feels enslaved by it. For a week we are really free from the world. I haven't turned my television on since I have been here. To be quite honest I really don't care what's going on in the world during the Feast. We thank God we can be free from the world for a week.
    And then after God teaches you about 1st and 2nd tithe you find out about 3rd tithe.
    Deuteronomy 14:28-29
    The poor don't pay 3rd tithe, they receive it. The question is, Do you want to be on the giving or receiving end of 3rd tithe? I personally prefer to be on the giving end. Think about it. Brethren, tithing frees us for the worlds government. When we need funds for local church needs, we don't go to the government looking for a handout. We tithe and take care of our groups needs ourselves. When we come to the Feasts of God, we don't go to the government looking for a handout, we save our 2nd tithe and pay for it ourselves. When we have poor and needy among us, we should not be seeking a handout from the government, we should be providing with our 3rd tithes. That's the way God intends it to be. The world has what they think is a better idea, Taxation. And the taxation of mankind is not a fair tax, instead they tend to take from the producers and give it to the non producers. That's fine and dandy if the non producers are disabled or are in true need. Unfortunately, there are those that take advantage of the system. Local administration of 3rd tithes would help prevent this. I believe tithing is freedom and taxation is slavery, but I do as the Messiah instructed and pay Ceaser what is Ceaser's and God what is God's. We as Christians should be paying our taxes and our tithes.

  4. Some say we are in bondage to Marriage.

    5. Matthew 19:3-12 This is really quite surprising to me. Who told the Messiah it was better not to marry? His own disciples! And we find that same believe today in the world don't we? Instead of marrying, people just want to shack up until the next trick comes along. Being married to a faithful man or woman is one of the greatest blessings a person can have. Being married to an unfaithful man or woman is one of the worst curses a person can go through. The Messiah understands this very well. Just read Ezekiel 16 and you will see what I mean. I'm looking forward to the marriage of the Messiah to the Church, because the Church will be a faithful wife. It is a blessing to now be married to a faithful wife. A married couple shares the burdons of life and experiences the joys of life together as a team. When children come along, a whole new world opens as you bring these children up as a couple. To many children today must experiance the uglyness of divorce and it is a wretched shame for our nation. Faithful marriages would totally FREE children of this terrible blight. How men and woman can walk away from the support of their spouse and children for some TRAMP is beyond my comprehension and WE should not tolerate it in God's Church, brethren!

  5. Some say we are in bondage to the 10 commandments.

    6. The truth is the 10 commandments are a protection for us. Have you ever had anyone complain to you that their neighbor keeps the commandments? Isn't it a good thing when people don't steal from you or kill you or try to take your spouse from you? The world is in slavery because they reject God's commandments and they want us to be enslaved too.

  6. Some say we are in bondage to the Bible.

    7. Revelation 12:9 Satan has deceived the entire world into believing that the Bible, God's word is slavery and that his wicked lawless ways are freedom. Ironic, he has taken their freedom and made them slaves while making them believe they are free.

    Conclusion:
    The Messiah said that God's Word is Truth and that the Truth would set you free. The world is in bondage, because they don't believe the Word of God. We, brethren, because we believe and practice God's Word are being set FREE. Free at last, Free at last, thank God Almighty, we're Free at last!
