Is Jesus Christ Really Immanuel?

Isaiah 7:14 ¹⁴Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign. Behold, the virgin will conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.

Matthew 1:18-23 ¹⁸Now the birth of Jesus Christ was like this; for after his mother, Mary, was engaged to Joseph, before they came together, she was found pregnant by the Holy Spirit. ¹⁹Joseph, her husband, being a righteous man, and not willing to make her a public example, intended to put her away secretly. ²⁰But when he thought about these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, "Joseph, son of David, don't be afraid to take to yourself Mary, your wife, for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit. ²¹She shall bring forth a son. You shall call his name Jesus, for it is he who shall save his people from their sins." ²²Now all this has happened, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the Lord through the prophet, saying, ²³"Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son. They shall call his name Immanuel;" which is, being interpreted, "God with us."

The apostle Matthew who wrote the book of Matthew obviously believed that Jesus Christ was Immanuel. Why wasn't Jesus Christ, Yahshua Messiah named Immanuel by Joseph and Mary? This has always puzzled me. In fact, I thought that maybe the old testament had been changed, so that Jesus would not appear to be the Messiah. Julie will tell you, I did a research on the dead sea scrolls to make sure this verse was as we see it. The dead sea scrolls agree with the rendering we have and everyone of the dozen or so translations and interlinear bibles I have checked. Isaiah says he will be called Immanuel and yet the angel told Joseph to name him Yahshua Messiah. Why the contradiction? How do we explain this?

Luke 4:31-37 ³¹He came down to Capernaum, a city of Galilee. He was teaching them on the Sabbath day, ³²and they were astonished at his teaching, for his word was with authority. ³³In the synagogue there was a man who had a spirit of an unclean demon, and he cried out with a loud voice, ³⁴saying, "Ah! what have we to do with you, Jesus of Nazareth? Have you come to destroy us? I know you who you are: the Holy One of God!" ³⁵Jesus rebuked him, saying, "Be silent, and come out of him!" When the demon had thrown him down in their midst, he came out of him, having done him no harm. ³⁶Amazement came on all, and they spoke together, one with another, saying, "What is this word? For with authority and power he commands the unclean spirits, and they come out!" ³⁷News about him went out into every place of the surrounding region.

This demon called him the Holy One of God and was told to be silent. If the Jews had really seen Jesus Christ as Immanuel, would they have killed him as the Lamb of God?

John 8:23-32 ²³He said to them, "You are from beneath. I am from above. You are of this world. I am not of this world. ²⁴I said therefore to you that you will die in your sins; for unless you believe that I am he, you will die in your sins." ²⁵They said therefore to him, "Who are you?" Jesus said to them, "Just what I have been saying to you from the beginning. ²⁶I have many things to speak and to judge concerning you. However he who sent me is true; and the things which I heard from him, these I say to the world." ²⁷They didn't understand that he spoke to them about the Father. ²⁸Jesus therefore said to them, "When you have lifted up the Son of Man, then you will know that I am he, and I do nothing of myself, but as my Father taught me, I say these things. ²⁹He who sent me is with me. The Father hasn't left me alone, for I always do the things that are pleasing to him." ³⁰As he spoke these things, many believed in him. ³¹Jesus therefore said to those Jews who had believed him, "If you remain in my word, then you are truly my disciples. ³²You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free."

John 8:54-59 ⁵⁴Jesus answered, "If I glorify myself, my glory is nothing. It is my Father who glorifies me, of whom you say that he is our God. ⁵⁵You have not known him, but I know him. If I said, 'I don't know him,' I would be like you, a liar. But I know him, and keep his word. ⁵⁶Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day. He saw it, and was glad." ⁵⁷The Jews therefore said to him, "You are not yet fifty years old, and have you seen Abraham?" ⁵⁸Jesus said to them, "Most certainly, I tell you, before Abraham came into existence, I AM." ⁵⁹Therefore they took up stones to throw at him, but Jesus was hidden, and went out of the temple, having gone through their midst, and so passed by.

The people knew exactly what he was saying and they wanted to stone him for it. He was claiming to be Immanuel and they didn't believe him.

John 18:1-14 ¹When Jesus had spoken these words, he went out with his disciples over the brook Kidron, where there was a garden, into which he and his disciples entered. ²Now Judas, who betrayed him, also knew the place, for Jesus often met there with his disciples. ³ Judas then, having taken a detachment of soldiers and officers from the chief priests and the Pharisees, came there with lanterns, torches, and weapons. ⁴Jesus therefore, knowing all the things that were happening to him, went forth, and said to them, "Who are you looking for?" ⁵They answered him, "Jesus of Nazareth." Jesus said to them, "I am he." Judas also, who betrayed him, was standing with them. ⁶When therefore he said to them, "I am he," they went backward, and fell to the ground. ⁷Again therefore he asked them, "Who are you looking for?" They said, "Jesus of Nazareth." ⁸Jesus answered, "I told you that I am he. If therefore you seek me, let these go their way," ⁹that the word might be fulfilled which he spoke, "Of those whom you have given me, I have lost none." ¹⁰Simon Peter therefore, having a sword, drew it, and struck the high priest's servant, and cut off his right ear. The servant's name was Malchus. ¹¹Jesus therefore said to Peter, "Put the sword into its sheath. The cup which the Father has given me, shall I not surely drink it?" ¹²So the detachment, the commanding officer, and the officers of the Jews, seized Jesus and bound him, ¹³and led him to Annas first, for he was father-in-law to Caiaphas, who was high priest that year. ¹⁴Now it was Caiaphas who advised the Jews that it was expedient that one man should perish for the people.

I believe when Jesus told them he was I am, that angels pushed back the guards to the ground. Just as Peter wanted to defend Jesus, the angels not doubt wanted to defend him as well and were held back. It must have been hard for the angels to see the great I am taken into captivity where he would eventually be brutally murdered. But the angels were also held back, so that the Lamb could be sacrificed as commanded by the Father.

John 8:57-59 ⁵⁷The Jews therefore said to him, "You are not yet fifty years old, and have you seen Abraham?" ⁵⁸Jesus said to them, "Most certainly, I tell you, before Abraham came into existence, I AM." ⁵⁹Therefore they took up stones to throw at him, but Jesus was hidden, and went out of the temple, having gone through their midst, and so passed by.

John 10:22-33 ²²It was the Feast of the Dedication at Jerusalem. ²³It was winter, and Jesus was walking in the temple, in Solomon's porch. ²⁴The Jews therefore came around him and said to him, "How long will you hold us in suspense? If you are the Christ, tell us plainly." ²⁵Jesus answered them, "I told you, and you don't believe. The works that I do in my Father's name, these testify about me. ²⁶ But you don't believe, because you are not of my sheep, as I told you. ²⁷My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. ²⁸I give eternal life to them. They will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand. ²⁹My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all. No one is able to snatch them out of my Father's hand. ³⁰I and the Father are one." ³¹Therefore Jews took up stones again to stone him. ³² Jesus answered them, "I have shown you many good works from my Father. For which of those works do you stone me?" ³³The Jews answered him, "We don't stone you for a good work, but for blasphemy: because you, being a man, make yourself God."

Mark 14:55-65 ⁵⁵Now the chief priests and the whole council sought witnesses against Jesus to put him to death, and found none. ⁵⁶For many gave false testimony against him, and their testimony didn't agree with each other. ⁵⁷Some stood up, and gave false testimony against him, saying, ⁵⁸"We heard him say, 'I will destroy this temple that is made with hands, and in three days I will build another made without hands.'" ⁵⁹Even so, their testimony did not agree. ⁶⁰The high priest stood up in the midst, and asked Jesus, "Have you no answer? What is it which these testify against you?" ⁶¹But he stayed quiet, and answered nothing. Again the high priest asked him, "Are you the Christ, the Son of the Blessed?" ⁶²Jesus said, "I am. You will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of Power, and coming with the clouds of the sky." ⁶³The high priest tore his clothes, and said, "What further need have we of witnesses? ⁶⁴You have heard the blasphemy! What do you think?" They all condemned him to be worthy of death. ⁶⁵ Some began to spit on him, and to cover his face, and to beat him with fists, and to tell him, "Prophesy!" The officers struck him with the palms of their hands.

They charged him with claiming to be God with us, or Immanuel. For this they convicted him and killed him.

John 1:1-5 ¹In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. ²The same was in the beginning with God. ³ All things were made through him. Without him was not anything made that has been made. ⁴In him was life, and the life was the light of men. ⁵The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness hasn't overcome it.

John 1:14 ¹⁴The Word became flesh, and lived among us. We saw his glory, such glory as of the one and only Son of the Father, full of grace and truth.

God, the Word, became flesh and dwelt among us. God with us, Immanuel. That's about as CLEAR as you can make it, but the world still doesn't get it.

John 6:61-62 ⁶¹But Jesus knowing in himself that his disciples murmured at this, said to them, "Does this cause you to stumble? ⁶²Then what if you would see the Son of Man ascending to where he was before?

Jesus came from Heaven to the earth to be with man. God with us, Immanuel.

John 17:1-5 ¹Jesus said these things, and lifting up his eyes to heaven, he said, "Father, the time has come. Glorify your Son, that your Son may also glorify you; ²even as you gave him authority over all flesh, he will give eternal life to all whom you have given him. ³ This is eternal life, that they should know you, the only true God, and him whom you sent, Jesus Christ. ⁴I glorified you on the earth. I have accomplished the work which you have given me to do. ⁵Now, Father, glorify me with your own self with the glory which I had with you before the world existed.

Jesus divested himself of the great glory that he had, so that he could dwell with us for a time.

John 17:22-26 ²²The glory which you have given me, I have given to them; that they may be one, even as we are one; ²³I in them, and you in me, that they may be perfected into one; that the world may know that you sent me, and loved them, even as you loved me. ²⁴Father, I desire that they also whom you have given me be with me where I am, that they may see my glory, which you have given me, for you loved me before the foundation of the world. ²⁵Righteous Father, the world hasn't known you, but I knew you; and these knew that you sent me. ²⁶I made known to them your name, and will make it known; that the love with which you loved me may be in them, and I in them."

The Apostle John clearly believed and taught that Jesus Christ was God with us, Immanuel.

1 John 1:1-4 ¹That which was from the beginning, that which we have heard, that which we have seen with our eyes, that which we saw, and our hands touched, concerning the Word of life ²(and the life was revealed, and we have seen, and testify, and declare to you the life, the eternal life, which was with the Father, and was revealed to us); ³that which we have seen and heard we declare to you, that you also may have fellowship with us. Yes, and our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son, Jesus Christ. ⁴And we write these things to you, that our joy may be fulfilled.

He is with the church today, in spirit, but he is not with the world yet.

Hebrews 9:21-28 ²¹Moreover he sprinkled the tabernacle and all the vessels of the ministry in the same way with the blood. ²²According to the law, nearly everything is cleansed with blood, and apart from shedding of blood there is no remission. ²³It was necessary therefore that the copies of the things in the heavens should be cleansed with these; but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these. ²⁴For Christ hasn't entered into holy places made with hands, which are representations of the true, but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us; ²⁵nor yet that he should offer himself often, as the high priest enters into the holy place year by year with blood not his own, ²⁶or else he must have suffered often since the foundation of the world. But now once at the end of the ages, he has been revealed to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself. ²⁷Inasmuch as it is appointed for men to die once, and after this, judgment, ²⁸so Christ also, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, without sin, to those who are eagerly waiting for him for salvation.

Psalm 46:1-11 ¹God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. ²Therefore we won't be afraid, though the earth changes, though the mountains are shaken into the heart of the seas; ³though its waters roar and are troubled, though the mountains tremble with their swelling. Selah. ⁴There is a river, the streams of which make the city of God glad, the holy place of the tents of the Most High. ⁵God is in her midst. She shall not be moved. God will help her at dawn. ⁶The nations raged. The kingdoms were moved. He lifted his voice, and the earth melted. ⁷Yahweh of Armies is with us. The God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah. ⁸Come, see Yahweh's works, what desolations he has made in the earth. ⁹He makes wars cease to the end of the earth. He breaks the bow, and shatters the spear. He burns the chariots in the fire. ¹⁰"Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations. I will be exalted in the earth." ¹¹Yahweh of Armies is with us. The God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.

Immanuel or God with us is clearly a future title of Jesus Christ, Yahshua Messiah. The word Immanuel only appears 3 times in the bible. In Isaiah 7:14 where a virgin shall conceive him and secondly it appears in Matthew 1:23, which is a quote of Isaiah 7:14, showing Mary conceived and bore Immanuel and named him Yahshua Messiah or Jesus Christ. The third appearance of the word Immanuel is in Isaiah 8:8. Let's go to Isaiah 8 and see if we can clearly see this is a title for our savior in the future.

Isaiah 8:5-22 ⁵Yahweh spoke to me yet again, saying, ⁶"Because this people have refused the waters of Shiloah that go softly, and rejoice in Rezin and Remaliah's son; ⁷now therefore, behold, the Lord brings upon them the mighty flood waters of the River: the king of Assyria and all his glory. It will come up over all its channels, and go over all its banks. ⁸It will sweep onward into Judah. It will overflow and pass through; it will reach even to the neck; and the stretching out of its wings will fill the breadth of your land, Immanuel. ⁹Make an uproar, you peoples, and be broken in pieces! Listen, all you from far countries: dress for battle, and be shattered! Dress for battle, and be shattered! ¹⁰Take counsel together, and it will be brought to nothing; speak the word, and it will not stand: for God is with us." ¹¹For Yahweh spoke thus to me with a strong hand, and instructed me not to walk in the way of this people, saying, ¹²"Don't say, 'A conspiracy!' concerning all about which this people say, 'A conspiracy!' neither fear their threats, nor be terrorized. ¹³Yahweh of Armies is who you must respect as holy. He is the one you must fear. He is the one you must dread. ¹⁴He will be a sanctuary, but for both houses of Israel, he will be a trap and a snare for the inhabitants of Jerusalem. ¹⁵Many will stumble over it, fall, be broken, be snared, and be captured." ¹⁶Wrap up the testimony. Seal the law among my disciples. ¹⁷I will wait for Yahweh, who hides his face from the house of Jacob, and I will look for him. ¹⁸Behold, I and the children whom Yahweh has given me are for signs and for wonders in Israel from Yahweh of Armies, who dwells in Mount Zion. ¹⁹When they tell you, "Consult with those who have familiar spirits and with the wizards, who chirp and who mutter:" shouldn't a people consult with their God? Should they consult the dead on behalf of the living? ²⁰Turn to the law and to the testimony! If they don't speak according to this word, surely there is no morning for them. ²¹They will pass through it, very distressed and hungry; and it will happen that when they are hungry, they will worry, and curse by their king and by their God. They will turn their faces upward, ²² and look to the earth, and see distress, darkness, and the gloom of anguish. They will be driven into thick darkness.

Isaiah 9:1-21 ¹But there shall be no more gloom for her who was in anguish. In the former time, he brought into contempt the land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali; but in the latter time he has made it glorious, by the way of the sea, beyond the Jordan, Galilee of the nations. ²The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light. Those who lived in the land of the shadow of death, on them the light has shined. ³You have multiplied the nation. You have increased their joy. They rejoice before you according to the joy in harvest, as men rejoice when they divide the spoil. ⁴For the yoke of his burden, and the staff of his shoulder, the rod of his oppressor, you have broken as in the day of Midian. ⁵For all the armor of the armed man in the noisy battle, and the garments rolled in blood, will be for burning, fuel for the fire. ⁶For to us a child is born. To us a son is given; and the government will be on his shoulders. His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. ⁷Of the increase of his government and of peace there shall be no end, on the throne of David, and on his kingdom, to establish it, and to uphold it with justice and with righteousness from that time on, even forever. The zeal of Yahweh of Armies will perform this. ⁸The Lord sent a word into Jacob, and it falls on Israel. ⁹All the people will know, including Ephraim and the inhabitants of Samaria, who say in pride and in arrogance of heart, ¹⁰"The bricks have fallen, but we will build with cut stone. The sycamore fig trees have been cut down, but we will put cedars in their place." ¹¹Therefore Yahweh will set up on high against him the adversaries of Rezin, and will stir up his enemies, ¹²The Syrians in front, and the Philistines behind; and they will devour Israel with open mouth. For all this, his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still. ¹³Yet the people have not turned to him who struck them, neither have they sought Yahweh of Armies. ¹⁴Therefore Yahweh will cut off from Israel head and tail, palm branch and reed, in one day. ¹⁵The elder and the honorable man is the head, and the prophet who teaches lies is the tail. ¹⁶For those who lead this people lead them astray; and those who are led by them are destroyed. ¹⁷Therefore the Lord will not rejoice over their young men, neither will he have compassion on their fatherless and widows; for everyone is profane and an evildoer, and every mouth speaks folly. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still. ¹⁸For wickedness burns like a fire. It devours the briers and thorns; yes, it kindles in the thickets of the forest, and they roll upward in a column of smoke. ¹⁹Through the wrath of Yahweh of Armies, the land is burnt up; and the people are the fuel for the fire. No one spares his brother. ²⁰One will devour on the right hand, and be hungry; and he will eat on the left hand, and they will not be satisfied. Everyone will eat the flesh of his own arm: ²¹Manasseh, Ephraim; and Ephraim, Manasseh; and they together shall be against Judah. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.

Isaiah 10:1-34 ¹Woe to those who decree unrighteous decrees, and to the writers who write oppressive decrees; ²to deprive the needy from justice, and to rob the poor among my people of their rights, that widows may be their spoil, and that they may make the fatherless their prey! ³What will you do in the day of visitation, and in the desolation which will come from afar? To whom will you flee for help? Where will you leave your wealth? ⁴They will only bow down under the prisoners, and will fall under the slain. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still. ⁵Alas Assyrian, the rod of my anger, the staff in whose hand is my indignation! ⁶I will send him against a profane nation, and against the people who anger me will I give him a command to take the spoil and to take the prey, and to tread them down like the mire of the streets. ⁷However he doesn't mean so, neither does his heart think so; but it is in his heart to destroy, and to cut off not a few nations. ⁸For he says, "Aren't all of my princes kings? ⁹ Isn't Calno like Carchemish? Isn't Hamath like Arpad? Isn't Samaria like Damascus?" ¹⁰As my hand has found the kingdoms of the idols, whose engraved images exceeded those of Jerusalem and of Samaria; ¹¹shall I not, as I have done to Samaria and her idols, so do to Jerusalem and her idols? ¹²Therefore it will happen that, when the Lord has performed his whole work on Mount Zion and on Jerusalem, I will punish the fruit of the willful proud heart of the king of Assyria, and the insolence of his haughty looks. ¹³For he has said, "By the strength of my hand I have done it, and by my wisdom; for I have understanding: and I have removed the boundaries of the peoples, and have robbed their treasures. Like a valiant man I have brought down their rulers. ¹⁴My hand has found the riches of the peoples like a nest, and like one gathers eggs that are abandoned, have I gathered all the earth. There was no one who moved their wing, or that opened their mouth, or chirped." ¹⁵Should an axe brag against him who chops with it? Should a saw exalt itself above him who saws with it? As if a rod should lift those who lift it up, or as if a staff should lift up someone who is not wood. ¹⁶Therefore the Lord, Yahweh of Armies, will send among his fat ones leanness; and under his glory a burning will be kindled like the burning of fire. ¹⁷The light of Israel will be for a fire, and his Holy One for a flame; and it will burn and devour his thorns and his briers in one day. ¹⁸He will consume the glory of his forest, and of his fruitful field, both soul and body. It will be as when a standard bearer faints. ¹⁹The remnant of the trees of his forest shall be few, so that a child could write their number. ²⁰It will come to pass in that day that the remnant of Israel, and those who have escaped from the house of Jacob will no more again lean on him who struck them, but shall lean on Yahweh, the Holy One of Israel, in truth. ²¹A remnant will return, even the remnant of Jacob, to the mighty God. ²²For though your people, Israel, are like the sand of the sea, only a remnant of them will return. A destruction is determined, overflowing with righteousness. ²³For the Lord, Yahweh of Armies, will make a full end, and that determined, in the midst of all the earth. ²⁴Therefore the Lord, Yahweh of Armies, says "My people who dwell in Zion, don't be afraid of the Assyrian, though he strike you with the rod, and lift up his staff against you, as Egypt did. ²⁵For yet a very little while, and the indignation against you will be accomplished, and my anger will be directed to his destruction." ²⁶Yahweh of Armies will stir up a scourge against him, as in the slaughter of Midian at the rock of Oreb. His rod will be over the sea, and he will lift it up like he did against Egypt. ²⁷It will happen in that day, that his burden will depart from off your shoulder, and his yoke from off your neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing oil. ²⁸He has come to Aiath. He has passed through Migron. At Michmash he stores his baggage. ²⁹They have gone over the pass. They have taken up their lodging at Geba. Ramah trembles. Gibeah of Saul has fled. ³⁰Cry aloud with your voice, daughter of Gallim! Listen, Laishah! You poor Anathoth! ³¹Madmenah is a fugitive. The inhabitants of Gebim flee for safety. ³²This very day he will halt at Nob. He shakes his hand at the mountain of the daughter of Zion, the hill of Jerusalem. ³³Behold, the Lord, Yahweh of Armies, will lop the boughs with terror. The tall will be cut down, and the lofty will be brought low. ³⁴He will cut down the thickets of the forest with iron, and Lebanon will fall by the Mighty One.

Isaiah 11:1-16 ¹A shoot will come out of the stock of Jesse, and a branch out of his roots will bear fruit. ²The Spirit of Yahweh will rest on him: the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of Yahweh. ³His delight will be in the fear of Yahweh. He will not judge by the sight of his eyes, neither decide by the hearing of his ears; ⁴but with righteousness he will judge the poor, and decide with equity for the humble of the earth. He will strike the earth with the rod of his mouth; and with the breath of his lips he will kill the wicked. ⁵Righteousness will be the belt of his waist, and faithfulness the belt of his waist. ⁶The wolf will live with the lamb, and the leopard will lie down with the young goat; The calf, the young lion, and the fattened calf together; and a little child will lead them. ⁷The cow and the bear will graze. Their young ones will lie down together. The lion will eat straw like the ox. ⁸The nursing child will play near a cobra's hole, and the weaned child will put his hand on the viper's den. ⁹They will not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain; for the earth will be full of the knowledge of Yahweh, as the waters cover the sea. ¹⁰It will happen in that day that the nations will seek the root of Jesse, who stands as a banner of the peoples; and his resting place will be glorious. ¹¹It will happen in that day that the Lord will set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant that is left of his people from Assyria, from Egypt, from Pathros, from Cush, from Elam, from Shinar, from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea. ¹²He will set up a banner for the nations, and will assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth. ¹³The envy also of Ephraim will depart, and those who persecute Judah will be cut off. Ephraim won't envy Judah, and Judah won't persecute Ephraim. ¹⁴They will fly down on the shoulders of the Philistines on the west. Together they will plunder the children of the east. They will extend their power over Edom and Moab, and the children of Ammon will obey them. ¹⁵ Yahweh will utterly destroy the tongue of the Egyptian sea; and with his scorching wind he will wave his hand over the River, and will split it into seven streams, and cause men to march over in sandals. ¹⁶ There will be a highway for the remnant that is left of his people from Assyria, like there was for Israel in the day that he came up out of the land of Egypt.

Isaiah 12:1-6 ¹In that day you will say, "I will give thanks to you, Yahweh; for though you were angry with me, your anger has turned away and you comfort me. ²Behold, God is my salvation. I will trust, and will not be afraid; for Yah, Yahweh, is my strength and song; and he has become my salvation." ³Therefore with joy you will draw water out of the wells of salvation. ⁴In that day you will say, "Give thanks to Yahweh! Call on his name. Declare his doings among the peoples. Proclaim that his name is exalted! ⁵Sing to Yahweh, for he has done excellent things! Let this be known in all the earth! ⁶Cry aloud and shout, you inhabitant of Zion; for the Holy One of Israel is great in the midst of you!"

For the Holy One of Israel is great in the midst of you, God with us, Immanuel.

Traditional Christianity teaches when we die we go to Heaven to be with God, but this not the truth. They claim to believe in and teach Jesus Christ, but they do not teach the truth about him and they do not understand that he is Immanuel and he will return to the earth and be God with us and we will be here on the earth ruling with him. May God Almighty hasten the day when All the whole world will see Jesus Christ, Yahshua Messiah as we should know him today. The Great and Incredible God With Us, the God sent Immanuel.
