7. The Seven Trumpets

1. Third of Trees and All grass burned up.
2. Third of the sea becomse blood and a third of the living creatures in the sea die, and a third of the ships were destroyed.
3. Third of the drinking water becomes poison.
4. Third of the sun, a third of the moon, and a third of the stars, are darkened.
5. Sun and the air are darkened because of the smoke of the pit and Men hurt for five months with terrible sickness.
6. Third of Mankind killed by a great army.
7. Return of Christ and resurrection of the saints and the seven bowls.

1. A foul and loathsome sore comes upon men who have the mark of the beast.
2. Oceans turned to blood and every living creature in the oceans die.
3. Rivers and springs of water become blood, men forced to drink blood.
4. Sun scorches men with heat.
5. Earth becomes full of darkness and men gnaw their tongues for pain.
6. River Euphrates waters are dried up.
7. Noises and thunderings and lightnings; and a great earthquake, such a mighty and great earthquake as had not occurred since men were on the earth. The great city will be divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell. Every island flees away, and the mountains are not found and great hail falls from heaven upon men.

Well, brethren, I believe it, because scripture teaches it.

Do you think when the false prophet tries to influence people to get the false mark, that he is going to tell them it is the false mark, the mark of the beast? Or do you think perhaps he will tell everyone that it is the mark of God? And how would he convince them of this deception?

(Pull out a $1 bill from my wallet.)

Do you see this dollar bill? It looks like a dollar bill. It feels like a dollar bill. It smells like a dollar bill. As far as I know it is a real dollar bill. But what if it was counterfeit? It would still look like a dollar bill, feel like a dollar bill, and smell like a dollar bill, but it wouldn't be a dollar bill. If it were counterfeit and we being Christians could not use it, because we as Christians are supposed to follow the laws of the land as long as they do not conflict with God's laws. However, if we didn't know it was counterfeit, then we would use it, because we didn't know it was the real thing. We would do the dirty work of a counterfeiter by getting rid of their fake money without knowing it because they deceived us into believing their fake money was real money. The closer the counterfeit money is to the real thing, the easier it is to make this happen. Satan is a master counterfeiter! You had better be well aware of that.

Do you think Satan might try the same tricks on us?

How did Satan try to decieve Christ?

Matthew 4:1 - 4 (NKJV) ¹Then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. ²And when He had fasted forty days and forty nights, afterward He was hungry. ³Now when the tempter came to Him, he said, “If You are the Son of God, command that these stones become bread.” ⁴But He answered and said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.’”

Maybe Satan will come to us through his representatives and say IF you are a Christian you would recieve this Mark. Afterall the Pope has the Mark and ALL the Catholic followers, All the protestant ministers and their followers have recieved the mark showing they are Christians. How can you claim to be a Christian and not receive the mark.

Of course we would probably say that the Pope, Catholics and Protestants have also replaced God's Sabbath and Holy Days, with Sunday and Easter and Christmas worship, which Jesus did not do. If fact the bible makes it clear that we should not be doing these things, so I'm not going to follow them. Besides we will say, it is written:

Leviticus 19:28 (NKJV) ²⁸You shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor tattoo any marks on you: I am the Lord.

If Satan can not appeal to our vanity, then he might try to use scriptuer against us.

Matthew 4:5 - 7 (NKJV) ⁵Then the devil took Him up into the holy city, set Him on the pinnacle of the temple, ⁶and said to Him, “If You are the Son of God, throw Yourself down. For it is written: ‘He shall give His angels charge over you,’ and, ‘In their hands they shall bear you up, Lest you dash your foot against a stone.’” ⁷Jesus said to him, “It is written again, ‘You shall not tempt the Lord your God.’”

A false minister might tell us that scripture shows us that we are supposed to receive the mark and gives us the following scripture:

Revelation 7:1 - 4 (NKJV) ¹After these things I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, on the sea, or on any tree. ²Then I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God. And he cried with a loud voice to the four angels to whom it was granted to harm the earth and the sea, ³saying, “Do not harm the earth, the sea, or the trees till we have sealed the servants of our God on their foreheads.” ⁴And I heard the number of those who were sealed. One hundred and forty-four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel were sealed:

And also:

Ezekiel 9:1 - 11 (NKJV) ¹Then He called out in my hearing with a loud voice, saying, “Let those who have charge over the city draw near, each with a deadly weapon in his hand.” ²And suddenly six men came from the direction of the upper gate, which faces north, each with his battle-ax in his hand. One man among them was clothed with linen and had a writer’s inkhorn at his side. They went in and stood beside the bronze altar. ³Now the glory of the God of Israel had gone up from the cherub, where it had been, to the threshold of the temple. And He called to the man clothed with linen, who had the writer’s inkhorn at his side; ⁴and the Lord said to him, “Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and put a mark on the foreheads of the men who sigh and cry over all the abominations that are done within it.” ⁵To the others He said in my hearing, “Go after him through the city and kill; do not let your eye spare, nor have any pity. ⁶Utterly slay old and young men, maidens and little children and women; but do not come near anyone on whom is the mark; and begin at My sanctuary.” So they began with the elders who were before the temple. ⁷Then He said to them, “Defile the temple, and fill the courts with the slain. Go out!” And they went out and killed in the city. ⁸So it was, that while they were killing them, I was left alone; and I fell on my face and cried out, and said, “Ah, Lord GOD! Will You destroy all the remnant of Israel in pouring out Your fury on Jerusalem?” ⁹Then He said to me, “The iniquity of the house of Israel and Judah is exceedingly great, and the land is full of bloodshed, and the city full of perversity; for they say, ‘The Lord has forsaken the land, and the Lord does not see!’ ¹⁰And as for Me also, My eye will neither spare, nor will I have pity, but I will recompense their deeds on their own head.” ¹¹Just then, the man clothed with linen, who had the inkhorn at his side, reported back and said, “I have done as You commanded me.”

And hopefully, we would respond, it is also written:

Revelation 9:1 - 6 (NKJV) ¹Then the fifth angel sounded: And I saw a star fallen from heaven to the earth. To him was given the key to the bottomless pit. ²And he opened the bottomless pit, and smoke arose out of the pit like the smoke of a great furnace. So the sun and the air were darkened because of the smoke of the pit. ³Then out of the smoke locusts came upon the earth. And to them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power. ⁴They were commanded not to harm the grass of the earth, or any green thing, or any tree, but only those men who do not have the seal of God on their foreheads. ⁵And they were not given authority to kill them, but to torment them for five months. Their torment was like the torment of a scorpion when it strikes a man. ⁶In those days men will seek death and will not find it; they will desire to die, and death will flee from them.

It is the seal of God, given by God, not the seal of ANY man.

Revelation 14:1 - 5 (NKJV) ¹Then I looked, and behold, a Lamb standing on Mount Zion, and with Him one hundred and forty-four thousand, having His Father’s name written on their foreheads. ²And I heard a voice from heaven, like the voice of many waters, and like the voice of loud thunder. And I heard the sound of harpists playing their harps. ³They sang as it were a new song before the throne, before the four living creatures, and the elders; and no one could learn that song except the hundred and forty-four thousand who were redeemed from the earth. ⁴These are the ones who were not defiled with women, for they are virgins. These are the ones who follow the Lamb wherever He goes. These were redeemed from among men, being firstfruits to God and to the Lamb. ⁵And in their mouth was found no deceit, for they are without fault before the throne of God.

We refuse to take the false mark, becuase it is a false mark and we see it for what it is.

Matthew 4:8 - 11 (NKJV) ⁸Again, the devil took Him up on an exceedingly high mountain, and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. ⁹And he said to Him, “All these things I will give You if You will fall down and worship me.” ¹⁰Then Jesus said to him, “Away with you, Satan! For it is written, ‘You shall worship the Lord your God, and Him only you shall serve.’” ¹¹Then the devil left Him, and behold, angels came and ministered to Him.

Satan's ministers might admit, OK, so what if it is the false mark. If you don't take it we will take all your possesions and starve you to death. Either you take the mark or suffer dire consequences. You know we have the power, for it is written:

Revelation 13:11 - 18 (NKJV) ¹¹Then I saw another beast coming up out of the earth, and he had two horns like a lamb and spoke like a dragon. ¹²And he exercises all the authority of the first beast in his presence, and causes the earth and those who dwell in it to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. ¹³He performs great signs, so that he even makes fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men. ¹⁴And he deceives those who dwell on the earth by those signs which he was granted to do in the sight of the beast, telling those who dwell on the earth to make an image to the beast who was wounded by the sword and lived. ¹⁵He was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed. ¹⁶He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, ¹⁷and that no one may buy or sell except one who has £the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. ¹⁸Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man: His number is 666.

Away from us SATAN! For it is also written:

Matthew 10:27 - 28 (NKJV) ²⁷“Whatever I tell you in the dark, speak in the light; and what you hear in the ear, preach on the housetops. ²⁸And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

And it is written as well:

Daniel 3:13 - 18 (NKJV) ¹³Then Nebuchadnezzar, in rage and fury, gave the command to bring Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego. So they brought these men before the king. ¹⁴Nebuchadnezzar spoke, saying to them, “Is it true, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego, that you do not serve my gods or worship the gold image which I have set up? ¹⁵Now if you are ready at the time you hear the sound of the horn, flute, harp, lyre, and psaltery, in symphony with all kinds of music, and you fall down and worship the image which I have made, good! But if you do not worship, you shall be cast immediately into the midst of a burning fiery furnace. And who is the god who will deliver you from my hands?” ¹⁶Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego answered and said to the king, “O Nebuchadnezzar, we have no need to answer you in this matter. ¹⁷If that is the case, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and He will deliver us from your hand, O king. ¹⁸But if not, let it be known to you, O king, that we do not serve your gods, nor will we worship the gold image which you have set up.”

Hopefully, God will send angels to tend to us as he did for Shadrach, Meshack and Abed-Nego, but if not, then we will die firstfruits and take part in the first resurrection.
